First, bride two in which house? Second, why do you want it changed and who to? And third, if you want to reserve, send me a PM with an example of your roleplaying, please. :)

Bride two from house two, and I would like to change the face claim to Taylor Swift, Nina Dobrev, or Susan Coffey? I'm PM you right now

The sample you sent was great, but to be honest, I don't really approve of any of those suggestions. I really can't stand Taylor Swift and the other two I'm just not that keen on. You can make a different suggestion along with a reason why you want to change the FC, or stick with the one that's already there. :)

Horseygirl is already trying to reserve that character, but if she decides she doesn't want it, you can read the rules and try to apply, or try for a different character.

Ok, how about Kaya Scodelario, Willa Holland, or Holland Rodan (lesser known actresses)? I'm just not a real fan of the correct FC

Ah, right :)
And just a previous post from another RP would be fine. I just need to know that you can use proper grammar. :)

Someone else is in the process of reserving that one too. The only completely open characters are the boys. :)

iPhone 5 will be available at Bell, TELUS, Rogers, Fido, Koodo and Virgin Mobile in Canada

iPhone 5

For Canadians looking to get their hands on a new iPhone 5, there will be no shortage of carriers to choose from. Along with the big three, a lot of their subsidiary providers will be on board as well for the launch.

Bell, TELUS, Rogers, Fido, Koodo and Virgin Mobile in Canada will be kicking off their preorder events starting on September 14th with the iPhone 5 officially shipping on September 21st. When it comes to pricing, the iPhone 5 will take over the previous generations iPhone 4S price points, assuming you're not making use of any special upgrade offers from the carriers:

  • $199 for 16GB
  • $299 for 32GB
  • $399 for 64GB

If you're looking to go unlocked directly from Apple, you'll need to pay out a quite a bit more. $699 for the 16GB, $799 for the 32GB and $899 for the 64GB respectively. It's also important to note that there could be other carriers lined up as well, as the above listed are the ones offering LTE.

The iPhone 5 destined for Canada is actually the A1428 model meaning it will work on other carriers who but it not have LTE available to it unless they LTE service and offer the band used by the iPhone 5.

Rogers customers will be able to use the Rogers reservation system to get their hands on the iPhone 5 while Bell customers will be able to order online and in-stores. TELUS at this time hasn't laid out their plans as of yet, but that info should be along shortly and we'll update accordingly.

One man traveling cross-country using only bacon as barter

Josh Sankey is hoping America's love of bacon will pay for his cross-country journey (Twitter)America's love affair with bacon is being put to the test, with one man traveling across the U.S. using only bacon as money in exchange for food, gas and lodging.

"I need your help. I'm driving from NY to LA with no cash and no cards ? just a trailer full of Butcher Thick Cut Bacon to barter with you for food, lodging and everything else I need," actor Josh Sankey writes on his website. "It's all to find out if America loves this bacon as much as money!"

Still, there's one major caveat: actor Josh Sankey isn't just doing this on impulse. It's part of a coordinated effort by Oscar Mayer to promote their new line of bacon.

As part of the challenge, Sankey is required to travel across 12 U.S. cites, taking him from New York City to his final stop in Los Angeles on September 23.

And while the BBC reports on Wednesday that there could be something of a "bacon shortage" next year because of rising pork prices, Sankey will not experience such limitations. That's because he is traveling with no less than 3,000 pounds of bacon in his specially equipped Oscar Mayer truck.

Sankey is chronicling his voyage on his Twitter account and on the "Bacon Barter" site. On Wednesday, he arrived in Louisville, KY where he successfully bartered some bacon for a night in a man's basement. His host even got himself a bacon-themed tattoo to support the cause.

Abreu suspended for kissing former team's emblem

Associated Press Sports

updated 1:53 p.m. ET Sept. 12, 2012

SAO PAULO (AP) -Uruguay striker Sebastian Abreu has been suspended for one match for kissing the emblem of a former team to provoke rival fans in a Brazilian league match last month.

Abreu was playing for Figueirense against Flamengo when he lifted his shirt and on a jersey underneath kissed the emblem of Botafogo, the main rival of Flamengo.

The shirt also bore the emblem of Nacional, his former team in Uruguay, and photos of his children.

Brazil's sports tribunal imposed the suspension, saying the incident encouraged violent behavior from Flamengo fans.

The punishment means little, however, as the ban will be served when Figueirense plays Cruzeiro later Wednesday and Abreu is with Uruguay for South American World Cup qualifying.

US economy creates 163,000 jobs, shielding Obama

The US economy created a solid 163,000 jobs in July, official data showed Friday, helping President Barack Obama dull Republican attacks despite a slight uptick in the jobless rate.

The Labor Department said unemployment rose 0.1 points to 8.3 percent, in a monthly report that was nevertheless heralded as evidence that the world's largest economy is still on track.

Economists had predicted a much more modest creation of 100,000 jobs during July, after a weak increase of 64,000 in June.

"Finally, we have some good news on the employment front," said Nigel Gault, an economist with IHS Global Insight. "The report will alleviate fears that the US might be tipping back into recession."

The service, manufacturing and food and drink sectors were among those showing gains, as the economy created more jobs than at any time since February.

Markets reacted positively, with the Dow Jones Industrial Average surging 1.7 percent or 217 points while the government's cost of borrowing fell.

Oil prices soared more than $4 a barrel on the prospect of stronger demand in the world's largest market for crude.

With fewer than 100 days to go until the US presidential election, White House contenders seized on the report's seemingly mixed message in order to shape the tone of the debate.

Republican Mitt Romney zeroed in on the politically symbolic unemployment rate, now the highest since February.

"Today's increase in the unemployment rate is a hammer blow to struggling middle-class families," Romney said in a statement, as he pledged to create 12 million jobs in his first term.

"We've now gone 42 consecutive months with the unemployment rate above eight percent. Middle-class Americans deserve better, and I believe America can do better."

However, Obama's top economic adviser Alan Krueger echoed the Labor Department's observation that the unemployment rate was "essentially unchanged."

"The rate rose from 8.217 percent in June to 8.254 percent in July," he said, well within the report's margin of error.

The unemployment rate and the job creation figures are taken from two separate Labor Department surveys released simultaneously.

The jobless rate is the result of a survey of 60,000 households, while the payrolls increase comes from a poll of 140,000 businesses and government agencies.

The mixed picture provided by the two surveys may make it difficult for Romney to steer the debate back onto the economy and away from issues that have seen him drop in the polls.

Over the past month, Romney has faced criticism for not releasing more tax returns, as well as for diplomatic missteps, his dealings at Bain Capital and his tax plan -- which independent analysts said would raise rates for the middle class.

As a result, Obama has opened up a two-point lead in national tracking polls in key swing states like Florida, Ohio and Pennsylvania, leaving Romney with plenty to do if the election is not to slip through his fingers.

Obama reacted soberly to the report, saying more work was needed to climb out of the deepest crisis since the 1930s.

"We have still got too many folks out there who are looking for work, we have got more work to do on their behalf," the president said as he again bashed Republican tax plans.

Democrats will also take hope from the fact that unemployment among Hispanics fell 0.7 points to 10.3 percent and the rate for adult women stood at a relatively low 7.5 percent -- both groups are crucial for Obama to win the election.

Friday's data is unlikely to be instrumental in deciding whether the Federal Reserve embarks on a new round of stimulus spending.

Before the Fed meets in September, policymakers will receive August's jobs report.
